GATEWAY CHURCH

A PORTAL FOR HIS PRESENCE.

Pastor Nick McSpadden

Bishop Nicholas R. McSpadden was born again on July 8th , 1985 at the Watts Bar Church of God in Ten Mile, Tennessee. That Wednesday night in July, he was also powerfully delivered of alcoholism at the age of 22.

In January of 1990, he began to preach as an Evangelist. In 1995, he married Shirley Cummings of Russellville, Alabama and moved to Russellville. In 23 years of full-time evangelism, he was privileged to travel to 26 states and 10 countries to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many of these trips included his family. The McSpadden’s traveled with their children, Jessica and Nicholas, when they were both younger and did an average of 40 revivals a year with many mission trips, youth camps, mission Sunday services, and special weekend meetings.

The Lord has graciously allowed them to see many people saved, delivered from the powers of darkness, healed, and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit as they did the work of evangelists.

In 2015 the McSpaddens began their pastoral ministry at the Russellville Church of God and would soon change the name of the church to Gateway Church of God. For the last 10 years they have ministered to the city of Russellville and the surrounding areas through outreach, involvement in the school systems, and community services. Their heart is to see the Kingdom of God advance through the Community of Christ and many families won to Christ as they minister to all age groups.
